Getting Started

What is Dance Studio Syllabus?

Dance Studio Syllabus is a complete ballet and jazz training system delivered through an app. It includes structured, progressive programs, ready-to-teach lesson plans, exercise demonstration videos, and music playlists, all designed to work together so you can teach with consistency and clarity.

Everything is now in one place. Instead of separate PDFs or books, the full system lives inside the app: lesson plans, videos, music, and supporting resources are all integrated so you can move seamlessly from planning to teaching.

Depending on your plan, you’ll get access to:

  • 12 progressive programs (Ballet, Jazz, Pointe, Preschool)
  • Ready-to-teach lesson plans
  • 800+ exercise demonstration videos
  • 80 curated music playlists
  • Teaching notes and terminology support
  • Ongoing updates and new features

Yes. You can start with a 7-day trial, where you’ll experience the ballet & jazz curriculum app studios rely on to build strong, technically trained dancers.

Membership & Billing

How does the subscription work?

Dance Studio Syllabus is offered as a monthly or annual membership. While your membership is active, you have full access to your plan’s content and all new updates.

No. You can cancel anytime. Your access will remain active through the end of your billing period.
Once your membership ends, you’ll lose access to the app and its content. If you return later, you can pick up where you left off.

Because you receive immediate access to all digital content, refunds are not offered. We recommend starting with the 7-day trial if you’d like to experience the system first.

Using the App

Where can I access the app?
No. Everything is hosted inside the app. Once you log in, you’ll have access to all materials without needing to download or manage files separately.
Yes. Each lesson includes a print-friendly PDF version so you can use it in the studio if you prefer working offline.
Yes. Many teachers use the app directly during class to reference exercises, play music, or review demonstrations in real time.

Teaching & Implementation

Do I have to follow the curriculum exactly?
No. The system is designed to support your teaching, not replace it. You can follow it as written or adapt it to fit your style and students’ needs.
Each program is organized into progressive lessons designed to be repeated over several weeks. This allows dancers to build technique, confidence, and consistency through intentional repetition.

The curriculum spans ages 2 through 18 (preschool through pre-professional levels), across Ballet, Jazz, Pointe, and Preschool programs.

Both.

  • New teachers gain structure, clarity, and confidence
  • Experienced teachers save time, reduce planning load, and ensure consistency across classes or staff

Yes, but each teacher or studio will need the appropriate membership access. Many studio owners use this to standardize training across their team.

Support

What if I have questions while using the app?

You can reach out anytime for support.

Yes. The app includes a walkthrough video to help you understand how to implement the curriculum effectively in your classes.

Your original purchase is still yours which you can access anytime here. The app is a new, expanded system that brings everything together in one place, along with additional features that were not included in the original products.
